Privacy Policy

Nydex ("we", "us") is a multi-tenant Discord community management platform. This policy explains what data we collect from the servers ("organizations") that install Nydex, why we collect it, and how it is protected. It applies to every organization using Nydex, not a single Discord server.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers any Discord server ("organization") that installs the Nydex bot and any staff member who accesses the Nydex dashboard for that organization. Each organization's data is isolated from every other organization's data.

2. What data we collect

• Discord profile data: Discord user ID, username, avatar, server roles, and voice state — needed to identify members and enforce server configuration.
• Moderation data: cases created by staff or AutoMod (warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans), reasons, evidence, and the escalation history behind automated actions.
• Message content (limited): AutoMod inspects message content in real time to detect spam, blocked links, and similar rule violations. Message content is not permanently stored except where it is directly evidence of a moderation action.
• Voice & engagement data: voice session duration and timestamps, aggregate activity counts, and XP/engagement statistics, used to power server analytics for staff.
• Applications & support: information you voluntarily submit through an organization's application forms or help-desk tickets.
• Server administration: server/organization settings, audit logs, and configuration preferences set by staff.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not permanently store the full content of ordinary chat messages.
• We do not record voice conversations.
• Staff of one organization can never access another organization's data — every record is isolated by organization.

4. Where data is stored

Data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with access-control policies restricting it to authorized staff of the relevant organization, accessed through an authenticated dashboard session.

5. Automated processing

Some features (such as staff application review) may use automated analysis tools to assist staff — these tools process the content you submit but do not make final decisions and do not use your data to train external models.

6. Data retention & deletion

Data is retained only as long as needed for the organization's community management, subject to that organization's own retention settings. Any member may request deletion of their personal data by contacting the relevant organization's staff, or by contacting us directly.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time.
